    Toolbar access

I am trying to bring some of the tool bars onto my main screen. I have purchased the AutoCAD Bible and AutoCAD for Dummies but can find no entry for bringing toolbars such as inquiry or dimensioning onto the main page. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Type -toolbar at the command line (yes, include the dash) then press Enter. Follow the command prompts. If you don't know the name of a particular toolbar start with the one called Standard. You know what to do once it is displayed on your screen right?

You can also right click on the grey area on the top right hand side of the screen..... A list of the command toolbars drop down and just click on the one you need.... The toolbar will appear on the screen and you and drag and drop it wherever you need it to be

    The command line option inputs...

    Command: -TOOLBAR

Enter toolbar name or [ALL]: Standard

Enter an option [Show/Hide/Left/Right/Top/Bottom/Float] <Show>: press enter to accept the default

When the toolbar appears place your cursor in an empty portion and right-click. A drop down list with all the toolbars available will appear. Make your selection.
