    Linear Array with Decreasing Distance Between Objects

    We need to do a linear array on a set of objects with a decreasing interval between the objects.

    Do you know of an easy way to do this?

    Our object pattern looks like this:

    O
    O
    O
    O
    O
    O

    We’re looking something like this, continuing for 100's of times:

    O O O O
    O O O O
    O O O O
    O O O O
    O O O O
    O O O O

    Index
    0 1 2 3 etc…

    Where
    op = object position
    i = index
    d = typical array distance between objects
    r = retract distance

    So
    op = d – ( i * r )

    Let me know if you have any ideas.

    The post parser for the thread takes the spaces or tabs out.

    The example should have the following spaces between the index:
    0 and 1 - 15 spaces
    1 and 2 - 10 spaces
    2 and 3 - 5 spaces
    etc..

    create a selections set and copy it via VBA.
    get the seection set, get the insertion points of the first item for the begining, then loop to the end. If you want code let me know.
