Can't insert Excel sheet into ACAD LT 10-used to be Sooo ez!

It used to be So ez to insert my Excel spreadsheets into ACAD, but alas, it
    CHANGED on me!
I tried the 'datalink' option-Thought it worked (the 'preview' looked ok,
but afterward I could not SEE the Excel sheet on my dwg).
    Any suggestions? I'm in a time-crunch....
    Thanks!!

Yes, Paste Special will still work but you really should go back and take a second look at Dynamic Link.

I've used it a dozen times and it does work.

I sure will, and it did look ok in the "preview" pane that it displayed once I had
selected the link, but after that it looked as if everything disappeared on me (?).
    Any hints?
    Thanks!! TGIF!

Usually the spreadsheet will come in attached to your crosshairs much as a block would.

You know that you can specify a couple of different opens like a single sheet of a workbook and even a range of cells. Do you recall what you specified?

Were you trying to insert this in model space or a layout?
