    Installation Errors

    Hi all,

    Im getting pretty fed up with getting the same error messages when trying to install the trial of autocad. I have seen .NET Framework 3.5 under the control panel on my PC and have installed .Net framework 4. During the installation I keep getting a red X by .Net Framework 3.5 SP1.

    DirectX 9.0 Runtime gets a green tick during installation however I get 5 alerts stating the following Error messages:
    AutoCAD 2010 Internal Error 2908 {9CBD4DFA-A2E4-405E-8FFB-6A4CEB9CBA3D}
    AutoCAD 2010 Internal Error 2908 {5EFBCC69-34A5-47258F6D98110A82B05B}
    AutoCAD 2010 Internal Error 2908 {A22E3DB9-BA62-4477-AF95-3189E7B06132}
    AutoCAD 2010 Internal Error 2908 {D6CC68E0-A5D6-43A7-B105-4FCFEF3745D6}
    AutoCAD 2010 Internal Error 2908 {8792605A-AB16-4D2B-9718-76564419254}

    What the hell do these mean!? Ive Googled them and nothing!

    During the AutoCAD 2010 part of installation the final alert says the following:
    Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assemble 'Autodesk.AutoCAD.Interop,version='17.1.51.0", publicKeyToken= "eed84259d7cbf30b",processsorArchitecture= "MSIL" '. Please refer to Help and Support for more information.

    I have no idea on what to do, someone please help as I have to use this for some work!!

    Thanks

    This is a legal copy you are trying to install, and not one that has been 'cracked'?
    The latest trial to download from Autodesk is 2011 not 2010.
    You have got the correct version for your OS? 32bit or 64bit?

    Trials are usually only valid for 30 days, if you need it for work you should be looking to purchase.

    The Autodesk trial download pages are here-

    I would try getting the latest trial version direct from Autodesk and installing that; check that your PC has the minimun requirements before attempting to install.
    Im intelligent enough to know that I dont know everything; but I'll tell you all about it anyway.

    I believe part of the problem is the OP did not follow the recommended procedure for uninstalling/reinstalling .NET Framework as per AutoDesk recommendations and kind of caused some of his own problems. There was no need to install .NET Framework 4 as 3.5 with SP1 will work with 2010. That's what I'm running.

    I think there may also be a problem now with his AutoCAD installation. That too may have to be uninstalled. Visit the AutoDesk website where you'll find instructions about doing a clean uninstall/reinstall. I don't think the Repair option will work in this case.

    The Autodesk site can be a bit awkward to find your way around because of all the info on there so here is a link to the clean uninstall instructions-

    NykeCad it was the official 2010 trial setup file not cracked. I had the 2011 educational version through university but didnt like it and am afraid it may not install again too! and 32 bit

    Sounds like a mess. 30-day trial of the commercial version then you try to switch to the educational version? I could see where this might cause you problems.

    Hi agawade34,
    Welcome to the forum.

    You may be a bit late with this answer.
    As the original post is from 2010 I suspect that the OP will have got the problem sorted by now.

    Please check the date on the posts before replying, it can be found top left of the blue bar above each post.
