    -Layer Freeze

    I have the following for freezing layers:

    ^C^C-LAYER;F;AISLE DIMENSIONS;f;GENERAL NOTES;f;REVISION XX-XX-XX;f;VIEW PORT;;

    i have it set to a button on a toolbar. the commens stops at -layer;f and tells me that no layers were found with that name.

    But those layers are in the drawing.

    When i type it out on the command line the layers freeze.

    Why is it not working in this above string?

    In a script or macro, a space acts as an enter. Not sure if this works, try enclosing layer name in quotes, like:

    ^C^C-LAYER;F;"AISLE DIMENSIONS";f;GENERAL NOTES;f;REVISION XX-XX-XX;f;VIEW PORT;;

    Dont think it would work like that - you still have layer names containing a space.

    You should put those in quotes as well- i.e.

    "GENERAL NOTES"
    "REVISION XX-XX-XX"
    "VIEW PORT"

    When we get a new worker at our company I always try to get them out of the hobbit of using a space in any names (pathnames, filenames, blocknames, layernames, ANY_NAME AT ALL).

    It often cures what seem like strange problems if you use an underscore or a hyphen instead of a space.
