    Problem with Xref saved Path

Can we able to make an Xref path permanent.

if changed the path of that Basedrawing , that was showing that was not found?
is there any ways to get rid of this.

I copied the drawings to Pendrive and pasted in the other computer.
when i opened an xref drawing it was saying the path not found
i fixed evry drawing one by one.and fixed in the found at

    plz help.

If you copy the DWGs to the same FOLDER ... the XREFs should link up....

Otherwise... you must go into your OPTIONS in AUTOCAD... and add the NEW folder in the SEARCH PATH....

    Hi, dude

First of all I would like to say that, when you are going to move drawing to another location such as pendrive or another computer or other path one thing remember, always copy or cut both drawings main file and x-ref. file as well., now the problem is path not found !!
in main file you type "IM" and enter the details of drawings will be displayed
go down on the left of the displayed window and you will see x-ref. detail, click on "found at" and select the path where the x-ref file is located and click on x-ref. file and open as well.
Now you are able to work with it.
If not then check your autocad version with the previous one from where you bring this file.
    Thnaks. Bye Bye

If you bind the DWGs.... All the XREFS will be inserted into the DWG.
    Making it ONE file....
Plus some additonal layers will be added to your file...
