How can I place our color logo on page

Hello To All. I am a new member and know very little about CAD. We subcontract our shop drawing work for our architectural millwork business. We have had a problem with getting our color logo added to the page template that the person uses to do our work. In the past when we did shops on 8-1/2" x 11" we would run a ream of paper to print the logo only. Then when the files are sent to us in PDF we would load the preprinted paper and would get it reasonably close to looking good. We are now using a plotter to print "D" size and are unable to do the pre-printing thing with roll paper feeder. The only format I have the logo is in PDF but could have our designer put it in most any format I should think. The subcontractor tried to use the PDF and get in on the page template, but it looked horrible and was all distorted. They said they cannot do anything else and now we have no logo. Can anyone get back to me and give me some suggestions on getting what I would think to be a simple task accomplished by someone who has more skills than the person we are dealing with. I can send or post a file if I can figure that outThanks.*

trace the logo in CAD... and fill in the colors with a ''solid'' hatch with the approprite color...

Your logo should then look sharp....

    Hope that helps...

So the lettering and colors need to be traced?

Thank you for your responce.Again, I have no experiance and nned to explain how to do this to someone. So if I understand what you are saying, the colors and the lettering has to be traced out with CAD?That seams like it would be dificuslt to trace the fonts? Is there no way to import a converted file of our logo that is more CAD freindly?

in your company there is noone who knows the font of the logo?
    ACAD is a vector-oriented program. It's not Photoshop,unfortunately!

    Your logo is not diificult!
