AutoCAD architecture materials

Good day. I am seriously having problem assigning materials to models in Autocad architecture. Whenever I clicked on render tab and I click on material browser, a lot of materials are shown; and whenever I apply any of these materials to the model, it fails to display the material even when I switched to realistic mode. Can someone help me out on this? Can someone take me through the process of assigning materials to models in Autocad architecture? And can someone recommended any Free e-book for me to download on this?

It is. I had to repost it here since you said I should post it where other users can easily see it and probably help me out. But if this is not the right page to repost it, can you tell me where to repost it or can you help me to move it to the exact forum group
