I dig and understand...I have been absent for quite a while also...
Thanks I did search.
I still thought we had a bunch of "eager beavers" waiting to pounce on questions like the old days....
Those days are gone....
Thanks NukeCAD
Hello out there......I'm not familiar with Spatial Corps' ACIS.......
Is it similar to AutoCADs' 3D polymesh......
Is is simply a .sat file??
Did you try a recover on the drawing first?
Make sure your objects are closed polylines too....I use them.......
I have 2002, I just drew a rectangle dimensioned it and changed the height in the properties box....
You can select them all & change them at the same time in the properties box.
Change arrow size...
Cool... I will try it Tuesday...
Have a great holiday weekend peeps.....
Thanks for the info Kyle.......
It seems they have done what best for us again......
I did read a thread here & am anxious to try this command although I doubt if anything will happen.
I see...
I’d like to know if there is a command or an action,
to reset the icons back to words in the status bar?(snap, grid, ortho, polar osnap, etc)
I heard that option went away in 2015......
...
Right click the tab & copy it.....
You couldn't just tell him could you......
Hmmm...I found 2008 one of the better versions.....
Very few fatal errors, not like some of the previous versions.....
I agree.....
Hey Nuke....Nice to see you too....
This is one of those projects it comes in handy being an ex-metal layout man....
It's OK...they'll figure it out...
You have to make your own points....A basic circle has 12 segments in plan....you would then layout elevations & the movement in or out....
I was a flat pattern layout guy for many years & made much...
You should be able to do it thru parallel line development, laying out the points & then retrace the line to each point in 3D space, with a 3Dpolyline.....I did this with a helix before the helix...
I should say rarely, but I'm trying to change some habits, so I am visiting.......
I never come either...
That's ridiculous....
I work between Structural Dept who uses Revit & us ACAD....
we have no problem, except for the layer issue....
and everything being either, yellow, cyan or magenta...
Did you check to see if all the layers were on after they exported the model??
Sometimes they will have to export it again.
Revit does NOT play as well with AutoCAD as Revit people would have you...
I see that all the time...it a computer cache problem....
Can't stand it...
The more they fix it, the worse it gets..
I used to used Cadworx 2010....never saw that...Could possibly be a cache problem.....
When you are done with that operation, try getting out of Cadworx, Autocad totally & then get back in...
I've...
I always heard they were not compatible even though AutoDesk makes something for MAC
I don't use the shortcut menu at all..I find it annoying...I have everything set up with toolbars, but I'm a dinosaur....
I NEVER use the block editor...I always use REFEDIT
Just my preference
