Sorry shel,
I thought I had replied back when you posted.
(I see that I did remove your email for your security, you shouldn't really put it on an open forum where spammers, or worse, can easily...
Sorry, there are not many (any?) active members here anymore.
Things change, people move.
I suggest that you ask over at CadTutor forum, most of the previous regular users from here are now found...
In that case it sounds like you are creating the objects as part of a 'group'.
Unlike Blocks it is possible to add or remove geometry from a group as you are working....
They are probably 'Blocks'.
See this: https://blogs.autodesk.com/autocad/how-to-work-with-blocks-in-autocad/
For things like this you are better asking over at CadTutor.
There are already Lee Mac lisp routines there to extract ordinates and write them to text.
Or you could go direct to Lee's website...
I was about to point you to CadTutor which is a much more active forum than here, but I see that you have already found it and asked the same question there.
Cad64 has already answered you over...
The page setup is stored in the drawing itself.
If you want to use the same page setup each time for new drawings then you use a Template to start your new drawing.
The required pagesetup, and...

Are you using Autocad?
Have you managed to import the Step file into it?

We have never really had a good lisp expert here.
I suggest that you go over to CadTutor where as well as many knowledgeabe lisp users you will find one of the acknowledged best lisp for AutoCad...
Have you read/done any AutoCad tutorials?
Are you used to using any other Cad application?
Presumably you have drawn in Autocad Modelspace?
With AutoCad there are many different ways of doing...
My first thought was to try starting a new drawing, but you say that you have already done that.
That should exclude it being layers as you would only have layer 0.
TBH if you can draw circles and...
Are you asking for a general Autocad tutorial?
Learning AutoCad is an ongoing liftime thing.
If you need the basics then here's a good start: https://www.cadtutor.net/tutorials/
I'll assume you...
I'm not sure what you are asking.
If you mean that you want to solid hatch an area but leave certain lines within that area still visible (in a different colour?) then creating multiple hatches...
The white lines on your posted PDF do follow a repeating pattern which shows that it's how the PDF creator is processing the image.
(It actually looks like 3 different repeating patterns but that...
How are you printing to PDF?
I've always found that Autocad's own PDF creation gives missing lines like that (or extended lines) with fills and solid hatches.
For years now I have used a free...
Many baulk at paying for an Autocad subsciption.
I also lost my job, 10 years ago, and if I didn't already have a fully bought Autocad at home wouldn't have been able to afford a subscription.

Unfortunately there are no VBA gurus here.
I suggest that you ask over at CADTutors VBA sub-forum: https://www.cadtutor.net/forum/forum/57-net-objectarx-amp-vba/
You will find Tharwat...
Metric sheets are usually specified width x height so A3 would be 420x297.
420x297 should be A3 in Landscape orientation.
297x420 should be A3 in Portrait orientation.
If the layout size is...
Unfortunately not so much these days.
I've removed your email address for your security, it's never a good idea to put it openly where spambots can harvest it and then bombard you with spam or...
Hi,
It sounds like you have turned your groups off.
From an old Lynn Allen blog:
https://lynn.blogs.com/lynn_allens_blog/2011/01/an-autocad-hip-tip-on-textmask.html
That is a pretty old lisp and so may not work with newer versions of AutoCad, commands and variables change over time.
Unfortunately we don't have any lisp experts here at the moment, but I can...
Please do not post your advertisement more than once.
Once is fine for a free service/library, but multiple postings will be considered spamming.
I just noticed that it was one of Lee Mac's lisps, so have edited my post above.
