CAN ANYONE HELP? I HAVE BEEN CREATING PDF FILES FROM MULTIPLE DRAWINGS USING AUTOCAD 2002. IT'S BASICLY THE SAME AS PRINT, ONLY YOU PLOT TO PDF FORMAT AFTER YOUR SYSTEM HAS BEEN SET UP. IS THERE ANYWAY TO PLOT MULTIPLE SHEETS TO PDF FORMAT ALL AT ONCE INSTEAD OF HAVING TO OPEN EACH DRAWING INDIVIDUALY AND PLOT MANUAL. SOME WAY TO BATCH PLOT TO PDF FORMAT MAYBE???
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL

THANKS

If you PDF writer is setup as a system printer on your machine, then you can setup a PC3 file for it.

Once you do that! :P
You have 2 methods to batch.

1. Batch Plot
2. ScriptPro

Both come with AutoCAD. (ScriptPro comes with A2k or higher).

You use the "Batch plot" that comes with AutoCAD.
I've found that it works best with template files.

However you will need to prep your DWG ... depending on which setting you use to plot with .... "extents" ... "Window" ... or "View".

I like view the best.

Below are links to some tutorials/ tips on ...

Thanks for that vote of confidence! :P :!:

But that ain't true.... :?

I'm very confortable in 2D and 3D but ...
I don't know VBA at all.
And my knowledge of LISP is so-so.

Eddie, YosSa, Exxit, CarlB, Tcarpenter ... just to name a few, know "code" better" than me. :o

In the end, we all compliment each other and make this "SITE" work! 8)

Later guy.

... and remember to share the knowledge .... :)
