How can i convert 2010 drawing into 2007 drawing?

Hi, every one i wanna ask you buddy in my office one of person send me four drawings and that one person used auto cad 2010 version and made drawing in 2010 and i use auto cad 2007 so can i open that type of drawings in auto cad 2007 which is made on 2010.......please help me..... thanks advance.....

You can open them if they wer saved "down" to version 2007 or lower.
If they were saved in 2010 version, no you cannt open them. You can convert them using Autodesks free conversion tool. Download at

Try this DWGgateway....I've used it in the past with my ACAD 2002...works fine

I think the one Carl shows is just a Viewer(not sure about that).......this coverts it to a usable DWG

Anyway, you don't have to fill out AutoDesk forms etc.
