    line properties in paper space

I'm using 2009 at home to make drawings and bring it in to work using 2007LT to print the drawing. The drawing looks fine in model space but when I switch to paper space to publish the dashed lines (ISO02W100) turn to solid lines with a big gap in the middle. Looks like a big change in line scale happened and that's how the DWF also looks. What's happening between model and paper space?

Most problems with linetype scale can be traced to the commands MSLTSCALE, PSLTSCALE and LTSCALE. Typically they should all be set to 1.

They are set to 1. How do you explain a line changing it's style from model to paper space?

The line does not change it's style. A line won't go from being a hidden linetype in modelspace to continuous linetype in paper space. It may look continuous but believe me the dashes are still there.

    Try the suggestions here- http://www.cadeverything.com/help/sh...ight=psltscale

(msltscale is not mentioned, but that should give you the result you want).
Im intelligent enough to know that I dont know everything; but I'll tell you all about it anyway.

There could also be two other problems...

    1. The lines in modelspace have a PHYSICAL ltscale assigned. Select one of the lines that are affected, go to the Properties Manager, and make sure the physical ltscale of the lines are 1.

    2. You may be using the wrong linetype file. In other words, if you are creating an imperial drawing, it may be using the metric linetype file (or vice-versa). Enter the command MEASUREMENT (not "measure"): if your drawing is imperial, set the value to 0 (zero); or if your drawing is metric, set the value to 1. Then, enter the LINETYPE command and reload the linetypes. Then enter the REGEN command,
