    Linetypes

Where can I find where the linetypes are stored so I may make a new ones, ie......ones with a line space some letter...to depict underground pipe, line, whatever?
I tried support & all the standard places, but it seems as though they've tucked it away nicely somewhere.

    Hi tinsmith,

    try:

    Code:
    (startapp "notepad" (findfile "acad.lin"))
    or
    Code:
    (findfile "acad.lin")

    Or...

Tools > Options > Files tab.

Click on the < + > sign in front of Support File Search Path. 99.9% of the time acad.lin will be found in the very first search path listed.

Could you be a bit more specific?

    Win7 and AutoCAD 2010...both 64-bit?

Did you try Exit's suggestion, I don't see that resulting in "no good". Include the parentheses:

    (findfile "acad.lin")

AutoDesk is ridiculous because you can't find the file? I think that's overstating the problem just a bit don't you?
