You can buy Chief Architect for about half of what AutoCAD would cost you. I think full AutoCAD is somewhere close to $4,200 U.S.

Where are you located?

OK...so the price I quoted was good. If you were in the U.K. it would be quite a bit more and in Australia it would be obscenely expensive.

The professionals of the design industry are moving to Revit instead of AutoCAD. Learning this platform would help you gain the skills needed to firmly gasp a position in any firm. This would be my advice to you.

It might not hurt to ask a handful of established interior designers what software they use/recommend too.

hI kyle Reese,
I read all your points that you were posted here. It will give more information and the differences were clearly explained by your posts. The difference between the Chief architect and the AutoCAD was clearly explained by you.
